On the 30th of April Tim recieved a phone call from the Kennewick Police Department wanting him to start his job sooner than expected. We thought July after he graduated, but to our surprise they wanted us there starting May 16th. So in less than 24 hours we accepted, got our affairs (school,job,move,callings) in order and started packing. Within 4 days we were moving to Pasco, Washington. So on May 16th Tim was sworn in as a police officer. He is now working everyday training until he goes to the police academy, which looks like August. So far he has obtained his police radio, bullet proof vest, uniform, badge, and will get his gun this upcoming week. He has accompanied training officers in a number of arrests, participated in a high speed chace, and learned how tough you have to be as a police officer.
During our free time we have been looking for a house, spending time with Tim's brother and their family, and getting to know another LDS officer and his family that was hired on with Tim. Athen is now 3 months old! He has grown a ton. He weighs about 15 lbs and is starting to grow more blonde fuzzy hair on top. He loves to laugh and giggle. He is a very strong baby, his neck is very sturdy and his legs, he loves to stand and sit up. We are still trying to get him on a regular schedule and to sleep at night, but that is a trial. As for Haley, she is enjoying every moment of being a stay at home mom and taking care of her family.
