3rd of July Adventure

We started the day with a delicious picnic at a the park...

and found a playground...


Roger will be proud Taft took us to the visitors center to check out all the brochures of where to visit...

This train is not standing still!!! It went by FAST!!! It was really cool to feel it go by.

We scoped out the town...

stopped for a treat of chocolate and ice cream...

allowed Kayla to do a little shopping...

strolled a craft fair in the park...

found "Yosimite Sam"... he wasn't in Yosimite ....

Kayla loved the horse

took a hike/walk and came across....

an oasis in the desert..it's actually a museum

then finished the day with a very cool and relaxing picnic again, well we ate and Kayla decided the sand and rocks were much more fun.....those pictures plus more and videos can be found on Taft and Shauna's blog or my blog: mapadorman.blogspot.com to be posted at a later date :-)

On the 4th of July we recouperated from our wonderful adventure and sunburns :-) :-)
We are grateful for a free country to be able to enjoy.....God Bless America !!!!
